Yoga for Knees

As a yoga teacher, one of the most common modifications I am asked for is to help alleviate discomfort in the knees. So many of us suffer from knee pain to some degree which can make a regular yoga practice challenging. In this workshop, we learn more about how our knees work, some strength building techniques and how to support our knees during our practice with the use of props/modifications to minimize discomfort and decrease the risk of injury. It is accessible to all levels of practice but not all levels of injury. Please be sure to consult with your doctor before practicing yoga if you are suffering from a knee injury. Private sessions are also available in this style to learn techniques specific to your body that will help make your yoga practice more accessible and enjoyable.
